London Bridge terrorists ‘planned to stage similar atrocity at well-known Dublin landmark’

Islamist extremists behind the London Bridge terror attack had planned to stage a similar atrocity at a well-known Dublin landmark.

Khuram Shazad Butt (27) and Rachid Redouane (31), who were responsible for the deaths of eight people in the June 3 attack, had previously observed Dublin as a target.

It is understood the group made military observations at a number of high-profile locations in the Irish capital, including a “nationally known family-friendly tourist attraction”, according to the Sunday Independent.
